U.S LAW ENFORCEMENT UNDERTAKES TACTICAL TRACKING COURSE IN TEXAS
In December 2023 K9 officers from various states across the U.S received instruction from ASA in tactical tracking. Two courses were made available firstly a basic then advanced for more experienced K9 teams. The course covered various scenarios that a K9 team can expect to encounter including car bail outs, hard surface/urban tracking, residential areas and suspect entering water. Both courses require long working hours and a lot of theory, however by the end all officers showed improvement in some areas.
